Hi,
attached is the eqOSG example we developed.
Currently, it can either display a quad or load a model from a file. It is
based on CMake and should compile on Linux and Windows.
It is very loosely based on eqPly, but I took some stuff out I didn't
understand, like the distinction between InitData and LocalInitData.
It does not yet do fancy stuff like slave cameras or any optimizations, the
whole scenegraph is held by every Pipe.
We actually haven't tested it yet on distributed computers, only on a single
local machine with 4 windows. We'll probably test the it on distributed PCs on
Monday.
There are probably some bugs in it, I know I see a segfault on exit sometimes
(but never when running under GDB). There are also several reported problems
on Windows, but at least one of us got it actually running there :)
Please let me know any comments and suggestions. I'm also happy to answer any
questions about eqOSG, especially about the build system.
Please read the README file first.
So, I pass this project on, I hope someone will find the time to be a project
lead for this, like Stefan suggested.
If you're going to host this on CVS/SVN/$DVCS, please let us know so we can
follow the progress.
Regards,
Thomas
